Energy Smart Insulation is passionate about insulating existing homes. We view every house as a new and unique challenge — to insulate, air seal, and weatherize completely and cost effectively. We itemize every item on our quotes so you know the cost of each service. We can also make suggestions as to what to do first on a limited budget. We clean up thoroughly when we are finished because we know it is important to you, the homeowner. We answer any questions you might have, and probably a few you hadn't thought of. About Nate + Rachel

Energy Smart Insulation was founded by husband and wife team Nate and Rachel Adams. Nate began by working for a fiberglass manufacturer selling to contractors across the Midwest. He traveled 50,000 miles per year, speaking with hundreds of contractors and picking up tricks of the trade from many of them. Nate and Rachel's desire be a working force for reducing carbon emissions while also helping the residents of Northeast Ohio to reduce their energy bills, lead them to start Energy Smart Insulation.


Nate and Rachel are crazy (and crazy is the right word) about old homes. They have fixed up an 1890 farmhouse in Kent, a 1949 Cape Cod in Cleveland Heights, and are now working on an 1835 former general store in Mantua.
